Hanan M. Elrihany is a dynamic leader with more than 20 years of experience in the
Education sector with a great passion for human and social development projects. Hanan
has a diverse experience with wide network of contacts with the CSR Foundations, and
private sector; also, she has strong connections with the Egyptian Ministries, international
organizations, and governmental & non-governmental organizations.

Hanan has been contributing to various crucial projects in Higher Education. She established
the First Technical College in Egypt in partnership with China, the “Egyptian Chinese College
for Applied Technology (ECCAT)” at Suez Canal University. Also, Hanan is the CEO OF
“ElSewedy Technical Academy”, which have three branches across Egypt. Hanan has been
initiating Education for Employment (EFE) program with the Ministry of Education &
Technical Education through partnerships with Sawiris Foundation, EGT Academy, TVETII,
GIZ, and ILO. Recently, Hanan took the lead to establish the first Private Technological
University in Egypt “ElSewedy University of Technology-SUT” in collaboration with the
Indian leading university “Amity University in Dubai”, along to establish many branches
across Egypt.
In addition to, Hanan has joined an initiative with the UNICF for solving the education
inaccessibility for girls and underprivileged communities, in partnership with the Ministry of
Higher Education.
